Lead Solid Bullets

Lead Solid bullets have been in existence for the longest of any bullet type.  They are the cheapest and easiest to manufacture.  The Lead Solid bullet does have some downfalls though.  Since there is no jacket of harder metal to act as a barrier between the bullet and the rifling of the barrel; there will be lead deposits inside the grooves of the rifling.  One of the best features of Lead Solid bullets is that with affordable equipment from companies like Cabela's you can make your own bullets.  This can drastically decrease the cost of shooting and make reloading your own bullets even cheaper.
