Details
A traditional full metal jacket projectile has lead at its base and when the round is fired some lead can enter the air. This fully encapsulated bullet has copper surrounding the entire projectile including its base making this round suitable for more strict indoor range requirements.
Each reloadable round boasts a brass casing, fully encapsulated bullet, boxer primer, and non-corrosive propellant.

Video Transcript:
Magtech Ammunition has been made in Brazil since 1926. Every component of each cartridge is made in the same plant, which allows for greater quality control. We went through a few rounds from the Magtech CleanRange line of ammo which features a lead core bullet, completely enclosed in a copper jacket. Most full metal jacket ammo has exposed lead at the base of the bullet. Because of it's design, Magtech CleanRange ammo is better suited for indoor shooting or lead particles in the air can be an issue.
The CleanRange ammo that we shot was the 40 Smith&Wesson with a 180 grain bullet. Like all other Magtech ammo, it has a reloadable brass case, and a non-corrosive boxer primer. Accuracy was pretty good from the bench at 15 yards. Most rounds hit about an inch to the right of our point of aim, using a Sig P226.
There were no issues with reliability, and all six of our test guns digested the Magtech ammo with no problem. For shooting on an indoor range, and especially in large volume, ammo like Magtech CleanRange is ideal, and will ensure you get the most out of your shooting experience with minimal health risk.
