Details
Manufactured by the legendary Remington Arms Company, this product is brand new, nickel-plated brass-cased, boxer-primed, non-corrosive, and reloadable. It is a staple range and target practice ammunition used by many law enforcement agencies and avid shooters.
In 1816 Eliphalet Remington produced his own rifle in his smithing shop which was superior to commercially available rifles of the day. Ever since then, Remington has been leading the charge in technological innovation bringing superior products to the market.
Note: Remington's bullet type designation "metal case" is essentially the equivalent of full metal jacket.
Video Transcript:
Today, we're going to take a look at the Remington UMC 45 ACP new target load. What really makes this different is this nickel-plated brass. And nickel plate actually functions smoother and more reliability. It does feature a 230-grain, full-metal cased lead bullet. And this is a copper jacketed bullet, which is the same as full metal jacket.
With a muzzle velocity of 835 feet per second and muzzle energy at 356 foot-pounds, this is an excellent full-power load.
Now, with all Remington UMC ammunition, they used non-corrosive primers, non-corrosive powder. And the one good thing about this nickel-plated brass is that once it's fired, it's easy to find and can easily be reloaded.
Remington Arms has been around since the early 1800s and is one of the oldest companies in North America. But UMC has been producing ammunition for over 140 years. You put those two together, and you get a lot of experience, which equals to consistency.
Now, to evaluate this ammo, I used a Springfield Armory Champion, a Colt Lightweight Commander, a Glock Model 36, an EAA Witness, and a Colt Government Model. All function flawlessly.
Now, the quality's there, but the price is right. This is a very cost-effective solution for high-volume practice and training. Now, you have to feel good about Remington being made right here in the United States. And you also know that you have great quality control, which equals to consistency.
10 yards offhand. Remington UMC doesn't call this the Target Load for nothing. If you need dependability and reliability-- and who doesn't-- go to Remington UMC Target Loads. Excellent choice.

Been through about 250 rounds thus far with my Smith Wesson M&P 45. Zero problems, zero misfires..which is what I expect from Remington. They are pretty dirty and your gun will need to be cleaned after each range outing, but for the value you can't go wrong. Will be purchasing 500 more rounds in the near future. As always, LG shipping was extremely fast. (Posted on 2/4/12)Performance Value Quality - Quality - reasonable price Review by scott

I always enjoy shooting my Warthog, especially when I can find quality target ammo like the Remington UMC 230 grain 45 APC at a great price. Now that I've found the good folks at LuckyGunner, I can't see myself buying bulk ammo from anywhere else!
