HPR ammunition is manufactured in Payson, Arizona and they pride themselves on using American manufactured components and labor to produce a superior load. High Precision Range (HPR) ammo is focused on delivery high quality training and self-defense ammunition to the civilian market. HPR ammo is known for its clean burning primers and propellant.
HPR's 45 Auto self defense hollow point ammo is loaded with high end Hornady XTP projectiles. All HPR ammo is produced in lots that are individually tested through rigid quality control function tests. HPR's 45 ACP ammo loaded with XTP ammo provides an excellent value for self defense ammo packaged in bulk 50 round boxes.
HPR has invested large resources into setting up a state-of-the-art SAAmi testing lab to ensure that their high quality is maintained. Their test lab equipment includes Oehler Research, Bill Weisman and Company, and PCB Piezotronics.
This ammunition is brand new brass-cased, boxer-primed, non-corrosive, and reloadable.

The 45 HPR ran really well in my 1911. I am picky with what I shoot in my nicer guns and was impressed with HPR from the cycling of the brass, accuracy, and overall feel. No doubt a step above other brands and their 50 round JHP boxes are nicely priced. (Posted on 3/24/12)Performance Value Quality
