Details
This ammunition features an expanding full metal jacket (EFMJ) design that expands on impact every time! Since this product does not have a cavity like a hollow point bullet, there is no chance for barrier material to get lodged in the cavity leading to ineffective expansion. The advantage of this design is that it will expand on impact regardless of clothing type worn by a would be intruder.
Federal's Guard Dog ammunition is manufactured in Anoka, MN. This ammunition is boxer primed, brass-cased, reloadable, and non-corrosive.

Pistol - Kahr CW9Quality Performance Value
Excellent round!!! Low recoil and great expansion. They advertise 1230 velocity, tho readings at my local range showed slightly slower numbers; however, it never reached below 1200. It might have just been the range's equipment. Either way I was still satisfied. Also, I have yet to experience any FTF, FTE or light strikes in 100+ rounds.
