Details
This ammunition is lead free and the bullet is composed of a solid copper hollow point that retains close to 100% of its weight upon impact. Law enforcement personnel recognize the importance of weight retention for duty rounds as it is the surest way to ensure adequate penetration. Many law enforcement personnel recognize penetration to be the second most important factor behind shot location when it comes to stopping threats. Weight retention is critical to achieving sufficient penetration.
This product is brand new, nickel plated brass-cased, boxer-primed, non-corrosive, and reloadable. It is a great option for personal-defense ammunition.

- Penetration + Accuracy Review by Major Justice

The Magtech FD Justice round gets better penetration than almost any other JHP I have tested. The problem with most JHP is that they often do not penetrate enough. The human body is designed to protect critical organs, and without adequate penetration, a perpetrator can retaliate before being incapacitated.Quality Performance Value
It doesn't expand as much as lead core JHP that is scored, but controlled expansion doesn't help if the bullet is stopped by the breast plate. I was not able to conduct testing that would mimic flesh.
The ammo fires very clean, and doesn't leave the copper fouling below the feed ramps on my P 226 that other SCHP bullets do. When I replace all carry rounds next month, I'm going with with this ammo if nothing changes. (Posted on 2/13/13) - RIP Review by Valquez
