I don't even know know where to begin on telling you how much i love this product so ill start with Lucky Gunner. After searching around on the internet for a conversion kit i came across this CMMG conversion kit. I looked at many different sites comparing prices and by far Lucky Gunner had the best best price especially considering it comes with 2 mags. The transaction with Lucky Gunner went very smooth and it was at my door sooner than I had expected. Very pleased!! Over the past couple of years I have wanted to be able to shoot .22lr with my M4, and untill they came out with this drop in conversion you only had one option, buying a whole new upper. Now lets be honest, who wants a $500 .22lr? I SURE DONT!! After finding this product I ordered it right away. A drop in conversion kit? Now who wouldnt want that. The day after I received it me and my wife (because she likes to claim this gun as hers, and says it cannot leave the house without her) took it out to the country with some federal .22 rounds and what a blast!!! I had read one of the other reveiws of a guy saying use plenty of oil, so i sprayed it down with some RemOil and after 1,000 rounds (thats right, 1,000 rounds) it never jammed once! I was so pleased because I could actually afford to shoot my M4 now, and as we all know a gun like this is not even worth taking out unless you have a bare minimum of 100 rounds, and after the spike in prices a couple of years ago it isnt cheap. This gun with the conversion kit is now my coon hunting gun, because it makes it so easy when you can just mount your flashlight to the piccatiny rails rather than carrying it while hunting. I love this product and have refered it to everyone i know who has an AR and told them to get it from Lucky Gunner. I will be doing a lot more business with this website in the future. Thank You Lucky Gunner for a very fast and smooth transaction.

It is a good conversion kit, simple to use just exchange bolt carriers. Takes no time at all. I have shot around 1000 rounds through it and noticed that you need to lube it like crazy, or it jams some but not alot. Magazines are good. Took a little shaving before they fit like I wanted them to. But its a great piece and it was delivered quick. Lucky gunner is a really good company.

Good Product - Great Company
Review by Mr. H
I am overall pleased with this product, but even more pleased that I purchased it from LuckyGunner. At this writing I have put 150 rounds through my Stainless Steel 22 LR CMMG AR-15 Conversion Kit. Using high velocity CCI Mini Mags I experience some jamming but not enough to warrant returning to using .223 ammo for target practice. In short, I can see how this Conversion Kit will pay for itself in .223. ammo savings very quickly if one shoots frequently. I did have one problem with this product, a reason I am so glad I purchased it from LuckyGunner. The Conversion Kit I purchased comes with two mags, but one of these was defective. Once I made LuckyGunner aware of this I had a new one on my door step within 3 days. WOW!!! In close, I recommend this product and “Highly” recommend you purchase it from LuckyGunner – they stand behind their products.

Good kit for practice
Review by Titan
This conversion kit is a great drop in kit for converting any existing AR-15 to run on .22 LR ammo. The unit is drop in, installs in seconds without tools, and requires no modification to the AR. It comes fully assembled, and only required a liberal splash of lube in order to function flawlessly. Which brings me to my only (minor) gripe. The parts are machined from stainless steel, but the edges have not been dressed and remain sharp. Do not run the unit "dry", or function will be ragged. After applying a liberal amount of lubrication, and running several hundred rounds through it, everything smoothed out. So far I have not had even a single malfunction. One note, the bullet strike will be different than that for .223 (obviously), so sight adjustment may be needed after installing it, and again before running .223 through it again. Also, one more side note. the .22 LR ammo is usually either solid lead, or copper washed. After several hundred rounds this fouling may build up within the barrel and especially within the gas tube potentially causing function problems. Be sure to thoroughly clean both after using the conversion kit.
