The Gunslick Ultra gun care kit includes everything you need to clean any pistol or revolver with a bore diameter between .40 and .45. Calibers like .40 Smith & Wesson in 10mm up to .45 ACP and everything in between, like a .41 Magnum, can all be covered by what's in this blue box.
Included in the kit is two ounces of solvent, two ounces of lubricant, a cleaning rod, a box of cotton patches, a slotted cleaning tip, jag or brush or mop and a muzzle guard. It all comes in this portable plastic case that can easily go with you in your range bag.
The solvent works great for cleaning out copper or lead fouling and powder residue. I found it to be a really effective cleaner, and it has a mild, soapy odor that won't overpower your work area or leave your hands with a chemical smell. The lubricant is also really effective and is mostly odorless. The cleaning rod is just the right length for a handgun barrel, and the muzzle guard is useful for protecting the barrel crown if you're unable to clean the bore from the breech end.
There are other great cleaning tools out there that could be used with this kit, like bore snakes and nylon brushes, but even by itself, the Gunslick Ultra gun care kit has everything you need to thoroughly clean your pistol, and it's really easy to take with you anywhere that you plan to do some shooting.
