Those without a North Dakota concealed weapons license are subject to open carry restrictions. Open carry is allowed, with the weapon unloaded and secured or in plain view, from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. After these hours, open carry is only permitted if the handgun is unloaded and secured.
