Details
The large target area features scoring rings standard to many styles of handgun competition. The top right corner includes a score keeping chart, with scoring rules in opposite corner. The green silhouette provides excellent contrast against dark-colored iron sights, even in dimly-lit indoor ranges. The thick cardboard will hold up through long range sessions, and paper repair-centers are always an option when the target area becomes unreadable.
These durable cardboard targets come in a 25 pack and measure 24"x45".
Video Transcript:
The B-27 style target has been used for decades by law enforcement for training and qualification tests. Champion now offers the B-27 with a green silhouette , printed on 24 by 45 inch cardboard.
The target is large and rigid enough that no additional backer is needed. And it can be stapled directly to a target stand. The green silhouette provides excellent contrast against black handgun sights, so that you don't lose your sight picture while taking aim.
It also features scoring rings that are standard to many types of handgun competition. A score-keeping chart is printed in the top right corner with a scoring guide in the opposite corner.
The Cardboard B-27 can take a lot of punishment and still be useful. When the target center is no longer readable, you can still repair it with a fresh paper target. While the B-27 is designed for use with handguns, it will stand up to repeated hits from a 12-gauge for defensive shotgun training. The large area also makes a nice long-range rifle target. And hits are easier to spot through a scope at longer ranges than with a standard paper target.
The Champion Cardboard B-27 comes with 25 targets in a pack, which is well under $1.50 apiece for a target that should last a full range session.
