Want to go hunting – without leaving any plastic waste behind? BioAmmo caters to the environmental stewards among us by eliminating nonbiodegradable hulls and wads from their shotgun ammunition!

This 12 Gauge shell features a biopolymer tube and wad. BioAmmo’s biopolymer is a vegetable based substitute for plastic, and if left on the ground it will gradually get eaten away until it disappears entirely. It takes microorganisms about two years to turn biopolymer into environmentally friendly salt, water, and carbon dioxide gas – or considerably faster, if you stick the empty hulls in a compost heap. Even BioAmmo’s alloy heads eventually weather away into harmless dust.

BioAmmo casts high quality lead shot for their shotshells. This shell’s #6 shot pellets excel at dropping birds and rabbit thanks to their smooth, round profiles. Pattern density is made even more efficient by BioAmmo’s wad, which features wide side vents that produce large fins following expulsion. These ensure the shot makes a clean break from the wad. The wad additionally features a compression zone in its base to soften felt recoil.

BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
