BioAmmo’s mission is simple: to give hunters the option of going plastic-free while they’re adventuring through bird country. Chamber this 12 Gauge upland game hunting ammo and you won’t have to worry about leaving litter behind!

To achieve their mission, BioAmmo invented a special material called biopolymer. Biopolymer is made out of plants (corn starch, mostly), which makes it perfectly edible to algae, bacteria, and other microscopic organisms. When a biopolymer wad or tube is left outside, it will become converted into harmless chemicals like salt and water within two years’ time!

Even without its environmentally friendly non-plastic components, this is a capable hunting load. Its #5 shot pellets are the ideal size for turkey and pheasant alike, and their superior hardness prevents the degree of deformation which harms pattern efficiency. BioAmmo’s degradable wad opens up following expulsion so it can detach cleanly from the shot column, and its basal compression zone lessens felt recoil to facilitate rapid follow-up shots.

BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
