This target load by Stars and Stripes is filled up with 1-1/8 ounces of #8 lead shot. That’s about 410 pellets to a single shotshell, so you’re guaranteed the dense, effective spread you need to ground bright orange discs. Although small, #8 shot pellets do carry enough energy several dozens of yards out to reliably demolish a pottery bird, and this shell’s 1,250 fps muzzle velocity is fast enough that you won’t have to lead very much with your aim.
