1. Shoot clays
2. Hunt upland game
3. Invent a cure for male pattern baldness
And what do you know? Here is 12 Gauge ammo you can use to do most of those things! (If you also happen to cure baldness, please let me know right away.)
Rio Wing & Target is pretty much your all-purpose, do-it-all, does-everything kind of 12 Gauge ammo. It’s obviously only good for circumstances where #8 lead shot is appropriate. You can shoot birds. Quail in particular have nervous thoughts about #8 lead shot. You can also shoot trap, skeet, and sporting clays. You cannot shoot moose, unless your objective is to annoy the moose, which is a bad objective and not conducive to living a full and happy life.
Rio is a good ammo maker. They are owned by MAXAM (Spanish; one of the world’s leading explosives manufacturers), and they assemble their ammo in Texas (birthplace of the great Sheriff Buford T. Justice). These shells have all the patents of good upland and target shotgun ammo: relatively clean-shooting, moderate recoiling, and loaded in reloadable hulls.
