This 12 Gauge shotshell is made by Fetter, which was founded in Russia in 2001 and today utilizes Italian-made equipment to crank out as many as 100 million shells annually. They commonly supply Russian athletes with ammo, but their products become available in America pretty frequently as well.
This shell has a light one ounce load of #8 shot. That means its pattern is still very dense at around 410 pellets, although it’s not poised to generate as much recoil energy as a shell with a heavier 1-1/8 ounce shot column.
Fetter pairs their lead shot with a plastic wad, charge of clean-burning powder, and non-corrosive primer. This new production ammo comes packaged in 25 round boxes, 10 boxes to a case, so you’ll be well equipped to play 10 rounds of whatever you like. Or take a few cracks at some birds! #8 shot drops quail like a champ.
