The magic of Remington’s Wingmaster HD shell lies in its shot. This 12 Gauge duck and goose hunting shell is loaded with #2 tungsten shot – a metal that is 49 percent more dense than steel. Tungsten is 6 percent denser than lead, for that matter, meaning this shell delivers more energy downrange than the ammo you can’t legally hunt waterfowl with.

Tungsten is nontoxic for total compliance with hunting ammo laws, and it’s also nearly as soft as regular steel. You won’t be punishing your shotgun’s barrel and its choke tube when you run such fantastically dense #2 shot through them. Remington’s shot pellets are consistently round, smooth and aerodynamic whether they’re made of tungsten or any other metal!

This shell’s heavy 1-3/8 ounce column of shot is set to exit the barrel at 1,450 fps – cradled by a high-density plastic wad for greater pattern efficiency, so it places a lot of potent pellets into a 12” circle at several dozen yards. These tungsten loads have the fine hulls and heads they need for smooth feeding, as well as the consistent primers and powder which deliver a predictable recoil impulse and trajectory.
