When you cinch up your waders and let your retrievers climb into the truck, you want to load up with shotshells that are as tough as you. These 12 gauge "Blind Side" shells from Winchester are designed for the wettest of marshes and contain a few unique features that will drop ducks like flies. Each 3-inch shell contains a 1-3/8 ounce payload of #2 sized steel shot which is derived from Winchester's "HEX" profile. A stack of HEX pellets resembles a group of miniature dice which do a good bit of damage on birds in flight with their blunt sides and wound cavity-carving edges. The blocky pellets tumble during entry in order to prevent over penetration and optimize the transfer of kinetic energy.

This performance will end ducks and geese with humane efficiency while the steel material is legal for use on certain wetland areas and WMAs; steel also introduces fewer toxins into meat that you intend to feed your family. The HEX shot is contained within a Diamond Cut wad which is designed to exit the muzzle with the shot before backing off to the rear. As a result, the shot resists deformation and maintains a tight pattern out to appreciable distances. Winchester protects the shotshell's innards with their famous Drylok system which prevents moisture from infiltrating the round and ruining the clean-burning powder and non-corrosive 209 primer.

This 100-round package comes contained within a reusable plastic box which includes a carry handle for convenient transport, a latch to keep rounds secure, and molding which allows multiple boxes to be stacked in storage.
