Turkey Hunting
This cost effective 12 gauge shotshell load from Winchester's Super-X series is a great choice for turkey season. Each 3" shell in this box of 10 fires a 1-7/8 oz. column of #4 birdshot at a muzzle velocity of 1,210 feet per second, producing a hail of lead in a tight pattern sure to bring down turkeys quickly and cleanly.
#4 birdshot is significantly larger in diameter than typical sporting loads and provides the extra penetration needed to kill large birds. It is not to be confused with #4 buckshot, which is approximately twice the diameter of #4 birdshot and is used for self-defense and deer hunting.
