This 12 gauge recipe from Winchester's Double X line features a 3-inch shell length with a heavy load and magnum performance. Each shell is built using a reliable primer which ignites Winchester's custom blend of powders in order to propel two ounces of #6 size lead shot down range for startling velocity; this translates to instant turkey drops at long distance.

The terminal ballistics of these shells are made even more impressive by Winchester's use of copper-plating and "Grex" poly-carbonate buffering. Both material features are intended to keep shot pellets round which contributes to more consistent velocity, tighter patterning, and deeper penetration into those big birds. Copper plated shot also reduces the amount of lead left behind in meat that you intend to cook or freeze.
