This Super Sport Competition Target Load is daffodil yellow because it is a 20 Gauge, of course. Loaded with #8 shot, it falls right in that sweet spot you want for trap and skeet, although there’s no way this shell’s 7/8 ounce payload of pellets wouldn’t prove handy for hunting little quails and other upland game. Estate doesn’t put anything especially fancy into their shot, but it is hardened with antimony and cast to uniform sphericity to deliver those tight patterns which any kind of finesse shooting requires.
This shell has a balanced plastic wad which creates an efficient seal within the barrel during ignition, a reliable primer, and clean-burning powder that will keep your shotgun happier in between liberal applications of Hoppe’s. Reloadable, of course!
