This 28 Gauge ammo is specifically designed by Winchester for the great sport of sporting clays. But if you prefer your clay discs to follow somewhat more predictable trajectories, then you should be just as pleased with these shells’ performance on the trap range.

3/4 ounces of #7.5 lead shot loaded to a muzzle velocity of 1,300 fps – the sweet spot for sporting clays with a 28 Gauge, in our humble opinion. At that rate you’ll be able to lead a little less with your aim, and Winchester’s characteristically hard lead avoids deformation to the degree that noticeably weakens pattern density. The AA wad is a one-piece plastic affair, which creates a positive gas seal to reduce barrel leading and also collapses in its midsection to lessen felt recoil.

Winchester’s extra strong hull doesn’t buckle under pressure, and it’s dandy as a reloading component. You’ll certainly enjoy firing this ammo for the first time as its best in class primer and powder both light up to predictable results.
