Ammo Inc. is headquartered in Arizona. They load their products in Wisconsin. The Super Shock Tip projectile, however, is made in Nebraska by Hornady, and it always wins the day. It stabs a level, predictable path through the air courtesy of its jacket’s secant ogive geometry, its boat tail, and of course its signature polymer tip. That deadly red arrow is perched atop the rim of the SST’s tapered jacket, with its base nestled in its one-piece alloyed lead core’s nose cavity. It transforms the force of impact into devastating terminal expansion like clockwork. And because the SST’s jacket is secured to its core in two different places – its InterLock ring, and its toothed cannelure – the bullet dependably retains its weight, conserves its momentum, and penetrates deep down to where it can do the greatest damage.
Ammo Inc. has been known to reload previously fired brass on some occasions. This isn’t one of them. In addition to virgin reloadable shells, this ammo features Ammo Inc.’s own Hyperclean Technology propellant, which reduces carbon buildup to maintain a rifle’s accuracy.
