A: Thanks for reaching out Peter! This is the only 380 ammo with lead-free bullets we currently have in stock. I regret that the manufacturer has not disclosed whether its primers contain lead or not, and I am unable to tell by inspecting the ammo. We may stock completely lead-free 380 ammo sometime in the future, although I cannot in all fariness predict when that will be. It is up to the manufacturers and suppliers to make such ammo available to us!

A: Hi. These Carbon City rounds are loaded both in steel and brass casings. The silver colored casing are steel construction. --Ross

A: Thanks for reaching out! These rounds' bullets aren't hollow points. They lack any kind of nose cavity.

A: Interesting question Don! Well, I'd have to begin by recommending frangible ammo like this. To be sure, a frangible bullet can still penetrate soft tissue deeply, but the bullet has got a significant chance of fracturing apart before it can create a very deep wound channel. But to properly answer your question, I'd refer you to the ballistic gel tests (which include penetration depth data) that we performed on a variety of 380 cartridges:
