How big are these ammo cans? The .50 cal holds 1,200 loose rounds of 223/5.56 or 2,200 rounds of 9mm. The .30 cal holds 600 loose rounds of 223/5.56 or 1,200 loose rounds 9mm.
And these cans do keep ammo safe. You’ve got seam-welded steel construction that you’re going to have to go out of your way to damage. You’ve got a tough steel lid with a hinged handle, which has a skirt to keep your ammo covered even when the lid is ajar. And inside the rim of that lid sits a rubber gasket, which seals out the humidity that can put corrosion on your valuable rounds.
