Full Metal Case ("FMC"), like Total Metal Jacket ("TMJ"), is a bullet type in which the the bullet is fully covered with a copper plating, including the base of the bullet. You cannot see inside the cartridge. In fact, the only difference between FMC and TMJ is the name given to it by the manufacturer.
FMC rounds are generally acceptable for ranges that require the lead bullets to be encased to reduce the amount of lead contaminants in the air. These rounds are not recommended for ported firearms as the casing may be sheared off as the bullet leaves the barrel.
