This gong is made of solid AR500, a durable heat-treated steel that stands up to the force of thousands upon thousands of handgun and long gun bullets. AR500’s exceptional hardness allows it to soak up plenty of energy during impact, which in turn poses less threat of a disastrous ricochet or splash-back. But this durable 3/8” thick piece of hardware is still going to register the pinging sound that indicates a shot well fired!

This target comes fresh from the factory with its own 3” target field. The American-made gong features two square mounting holes on its top side, making it easy to hang by a chain or even a single bolt or hook if you prefer.
