Details
Fiocchi's nickel plated shotgun loads are designed with nickel-plated pellets for less resistance in flight as well as higher velocities for increased energy downrange and improved performance on target. Plus, the pellets penetrate deeper which causes more damage to bones and vital organs.
Where are Fiocchi products made?
While most of Fiocchi ammunition is loaded at their plant in Ozark, Missouri, Fiocchi is also importing ammunition and reloading components from their plant in Italy because of the high demand the industry has been experiencing. All products are loaded to either C.I.P. or SAAMI specifications.
Muzzle Velocity: 1150 fps
Video Transcript:
The Fiocchi family has been making ammunition for over 130 years. They've operated a factory in Northern Italy since they were founded, and they have demonstrated a commitment to the American market by opening a factory in Missouri as well. Fiocchi as a company has a lot of experience in manufacturing ammunition. As you might expect after having done so for more than a century. That brings me to a subject for this review-- Fiocchi Low Recoil, 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch, double-aught Buckshot.
If you have a pump or break action shotgun, this is a good choice for home defense use. In a semi auto shotgun, you might want to pick something with more power to operate the firearm properly. Fiocchi reduced recoil by lowering the muzzle velocity to 1,150 feet per second. This makes the ammo easier to control than full power 12 gauge loads, which is beneficial in a self defense situation. Also, you can train longer without getting a sore shoulder if you use low recoil ammo.
At nine yards from a cylinder bore shotgun, this ammo had a fairly tight pattern, smaller than a human fist. That means it's effective indoors as well as out to medium defensive ranges outdoors. You won't have to worry about stray pellets hitting targets you don't intend to shoot. Given the history of the company and the quality of the ammo they produce, I would definitely use this Fiocchi Buckshot for home defense in my pump-action shotgun.

I am so glad to have found LuckyGunner! Compared to some of the other online ammo sites this one was a breeze to navigate & order from. The shells were delivered on time and with no problems whatsoever. The emails from 'Heidi' are very personable and appropriate in making sure my order was processed and received ok. Love the honesty about the package 'insurance'. So refreshing! (Posted on 12/7/12)Performance Value Quality - Product & Service excellent. Review by Cleve

I dont think there is anything wrong with this ammunition, unless you own a gas powered semiautomatic 12g! This may be common knowledge to some, but I had to learn the hard-way. This low recoil ammunition would not cycle through my saiga 12. That extra powder is needed in a gas powered shot gun! On another note, I would like thank lucky gunner for allowing me to return the two, 250 round boxes of FIOCCHI low recoil ammo I purchased for company credit! A lesson learned with a well satisfied ending, thanks Lucky Gunner!Performance Value Quality

I just bought my first shotgun (Benelli) and bought tons of different slugs/buck. This ammo was some of the stuff that I went out and shot with. I really liked it because of the reduced recoil, it didn't hurt my shoulder and all 4 of my friends fired rounds downrange without complaints. Definitely a noticeable reduction in recoil compared to other brands. "Rio" blasted my shoulder, but for the price, I'll take a little beating.
