Manufactured at the Barnaul plant in Russia on the Silver Bear production line, Colt ammo is a great economical 308 round thanks to the highly polished zinc plated steel casings used and the accurate bi-metal full metal jacket boat-tail (FMJ-BT) projectile. This ammo is perfect for range training and target practice at a fraction of the cost of brass-cased ammunition.

Manufactured in Russia, this product features zinc plated steel-casings and is berdan-primed, non-corrosive, magnetic and non-reloadable.

Customer Reviews

Best bang for the buck, no pun intended Review by Django
I'm sure the experienced sniper (which I'm nowhere near that) would tell me not to use this in my Accuracy International AT308, but I did and I shot way less than 1MOA at 500 yards (repeatedly) -truthfully less than 1" groups, you do the Math. I did have to make a full 1 mil elevation adj diff , compared to shooting Lapua Scenar 155 grain. To conclude for 500 yard range it served me well. I haven't tried stretching it out to further distances quite yet. im not sure what its performance will be with my setup (Tremor2 Horus reticle) but I'm going to sure find out. I was told you can not reload with this ammo. I don't reload regardless but for those of you that do, check into that . (Posted on 12/21/14)
Performance Review by rosemeadblvd
I bought 1000 rounds for my new M&P 10, there were couple of jams at the first case then the rest of rounds are pretty good. the rounds are having on average little bit over one inch off on a 100 yard range. (Posted on 11/20/14)
Excellent value, great accuracy, clean too. Review by TimfromTexas
Bought this and ran it thru my Ruger Gunsite Carbine. Dead on and my bore was clean as a whistle. Buying more right now. (Posted on 10/25/14)
Good Training Ammo Review by Pistol
I fired about 60 rounds of this through a L1A1 and had no failure to fire or to eject. The ammunition seemed to be inconsistent, with several flyers and empty cases ejected at different distances and locations. I would use it for tactical training but not serious target work with this rifle. I will try it with a bolt gun and report back. (Posted on 10/23/14)
Good rounds no issues Review by Danny
Good quality ammunition at a good price. My .308 didn't have a problem at all. (Posted on 10/27/13)
decent but not the best, great for Review by sig
This stuff will do the trick for your military semi-auto just fine. You will feel better using iron sights. I have a decent setup on a R700 and I needed to remount the scope, so I used it to sight in. It shot well enough out to zero at 200 yards, perhaps enough to put down a deer if you are careful, but I would not use it for much more than target shooting. Once I was getting good groups on paper with this I switched to a more expensive (and harder to get) premium brand with the same loading to dial it in tight, and that's what I stick to for shots that count. Great accurate ammo. Review by TheDP
Cheap highly accurate ammo with no trouble whatsoever. My 308 fired these baby's with no issue. I will definitely buy more. Thanks LG! (Posted on 9/29/13)
