The rounds shot fine. No mis-fires and no hang ups. I did have one round split at the tip and the shell with a tiny crack but still a good fire. Found out after the shot. As my Mosin has no suppressor they look brutal when firing, but it is the real deal. Unless you demand authenticity, then get a shoulder absorber. Some shots can pack a punch. Accurate at 75 yards unless there was shooter error. I've perfected that trait. I'll be re-ordering compared to $.50-1.00 a shot otherwise. Think about it! A gun that hasn't seen action for 70 years coupled with a 30-40 year old ammo can. Bound to have a few difficulties but still overall a great deal! Happy target shooting. Great therapy! But then again it is Military ammo and should go bang every time

This is great for the Mosin. Its dated for these rifles so you will get great results. Remember, if you buy the stuff off the shelf in the stores today (the powder is different) so it will take time getting on paper. I gave up after about 40 rounds. Ive shot some of this stuff and boy is it fun to shoot, kicks like some buckshot but it really isnt too bad, the ammo was gorgeous and came in the famous spam can, the only problem was that it didn't come with an opener so I had to resort to the "hammer and chisel" Russian bias...lol anyway I will shop here again for the next tin and maybe buy a few more so that I can get the opener, this is the best site to buy bulk ammo for your mosin sks...hell any gun you need bulk ammo for come here the delivery was only 4 days after processing to California. With some of the rumors about the age of the rounds I was a little reluctant to try it, however the final result and performance were well worth the investment. I bought this ammo for some range time with my 91/30. I was surprised with how good the ammo was. The cases look great. I also had no problems with any of the loads at the range. I have shot about 200 rounds of this ammo that looked like new out of the can. I was surprised that it was from the 70,s as it looks brand new. I am pleased to see LG get this ammo. I have shot similar vintage surplus ammo from the 70's, and it comes out of that can looking like brand new. I have shot about 500 rounds of this vintage ammo with zero misfires or any other issues. As soon as I need a little more, I will be ordering this from LG.

Also, to open the cans is easy... lots of videos on youtube showing how, but if you stand on the can and just use the side of a flat blade screw driver, you hit it sideways with a hammer and easily remove enough of the lid to peel it back and get the ammo out.
