The two manufacturers actually share corporate ownership, and as such you can expect similar quality from Estate as you would Minnesota’s better known ammo maker.
Estate’s Sport Competition Target label 12 Gauge ammunition is a great selection for trap, skeet, and clays. With its full 1-1/8 ounce column of #7.5 shot, a single one of these shells packs almost 400 pellets, which is why its pattern remains impressively dense over 100 feet out. #7.5 shot is substantial enough to consistently shatter clays even at lower velocities, and when it’s made with lead as hard as Estate’s it stays round throughout ignition to prevent frustrating fly-aways.
This shell’s propellant burns fast and clean to propel its high density wad evenly down the barrel. Its primer is non-corrosive, and its fluted hull stands up to rapid cycling and intense pressure. Not the worst choice in the world for medium-size upland game, either!
