We don’t like to brag, but we’re really good at trap and sporting clays over here at Lucky Gunner. We personally prefer to use a 50 BMG for the sports, and one of our warehouse guys is telekinetic and can burst a clay simply by pointing at it with his finger. But we do acknowledge that not every shooter has developed so much skill, which is why we offer these Super Sport Competition Target Loads by Estate Cartridge.

This 12 Gauge shotshell is loaded with 1 1/8 ounces of lead shot, which is the maximum weight permissible according to the Amateur Trapshooting Association. The #8 shot pellets themselves are ideal for the sport as well. Approximately 460 of the 0.09” diameter pellets will exit the muzzle at 1,200 fps, and the hard lead they are cast from as well as the good wad that pushes them neatly outward both promote a tight, accurate, and powerful spread downrange.

Estate Cartridge is in the same family of ownership as Speer and Federal, so the little known manufacturer does have access to highly uniform components and their industry’s leading experts. You may certainly reload these shells’ strong hulls if you wish. You may count on their brass heads to ensure smooth extraction after every shot fired. Estate’s primers and propellant both yield a cleaner shotgun at the end of several rounds.
