This is a real target shooter’s load, packed with 1-1/8 ounces of #8 shot. Those 0.09” diameter balls are made of first-run chilled lead, which gives them the resilience they need to stay round enough to fly in a thick pattern. This shell’s wad features a one-piece shot cup to push all 460 or so pellets evenly down the barrel, as well as a cushioned base which makes one or ten rounds of trap or sporting clays a little easier on the old shoulder.
Fiocchi is headquartered in Italy – hence the vowel on the end of their name – but they produce all of the shotshells they sell in America in America. That’s where this ammo received its reliable primers, its clean-burning powder, and its translucent reloadable hulls.
