This ammunition hails from snowy Klimovsk, Russia, where Fetter has operated in some capacity or another since 1901. The brand is a relatively unknown quantity here in America, although you’ll soon find that these billfold-friendly shotgun shells are a fine choice for target work and casual hunting alike.
Most shotshells have many projectiles. This shell has one: a lead slug, which functions more or less like a 0.729” diameter rifle bullet. We would estimate the slug’s expected ballistic performance if Fetter reported its muzzle velocity and G1 ballistic coefficient (or at the very least its downrange velocity). That being said, this is assuredly a full-power load, which can capably tag a whitetail within a 12 Gauge slug gun’s conventional range.
