If you’re trying to make the most minimal impact on the environment the next time you bust up some clays, then you have just found your 12 Gauge ammo. This shell’s steel shot isn’t just nontoxic – its tube and wad are both degradable as well!

The magic is in BioAmmo’s biopolymer. Although strong like plastic, this material is made out of plants. If you leave them on the ground or underwater for a couple of years, microorganisms will odorlessly convert this shell’s tube and wad into harmless carbon dioxide, water and mineral salts. Stick the hulls in your compost heap if you please, but don’t worry about all those wads sticking around forever in the soil.

BioAmmo loads this shell with environmentally friendly #7 steel shot. The shell’s fast muzzle velocity gives lightweight steel the flat flight path and crushing impact energy it needs to crack clay on demand. Its wide vented wad and uniformly round shot pellets give this shell the tight pattern you need to lock onto fast-flying clays as well!

BioAmmo shotshells can be stored in normal conditions for at least five years.
