International trap and skeet ain’t the same games as the American versions. For instance, in international trap you’ve got to hit not one, but two targets after they’re fired at the same time – and both discs are launched to speeds of up to 50 mph.

This shell has a small column of small shot pellets: 7/8 ounces of #9 lead (technically this shell’s 24 gram shot charge weighs 846575/1000000 ounces, but we rounded up by 0.028425 ounces for the sake of convenience). That comes out to 495 individual 0.08” diameter shot pellets, which is a dense spread no matter which way you slice it. Its small shot column is also the reason why this target shell produces a mighty high muzzle velocity of 1,350 fps without kicking very hard as a result.
