A: Thanks for reaching out Jimmy! I cannot say with any certainty whether this 3-1/4 dram equivalent ammunition will fire safely in an antique shotgun that I have not personally inspected. If the shotgun is in good condition it should fire this ammo just fine, but caution dictates that I do not make any guarantees. I advise having your shotgun inspected by a professional gunsmith if you are uncertain of which ammunition it can safely fire.

A: Thanks for reaching out Jack! A rifled bore shotgun can fire this ammo without damaging its barrel. That said, the pattern is going to be substantially wider at close range (and probably donut-shaped). That would make this ammo a poor choice for hunting, but potentially effective for home defense where a wide spread at close range could very much be a good thing!

A: Thanks for reaching out Robert! I see no reason why this ammo shouldn't generate sufficient chamber pressure to fully cycle your Winchester, but I'm glad you know to test a box out before committing to the whole case. I hope you'll write a review based on its performance!
