This shotshell is actually loaded with 1 1/8 ounces of #7.5 shot, so it has the same weight distribution and feel of a real loaded round. The shell’s clear hull has “DUMMY” unambiguously written on its side in big black letters, and its head is black for even easier identification. You don’t want to accidentally grab this shell before you go hunting or if someone breaks into your house, after all.

This shell is incapable of firing. It contains no primer or propellant, so you’ll have about the same chance of firing it as you would if you loaded your shotgun with wine corks.
