PMC says this 12 Gauge shotshell provides the performance you need to take “fat-packed honkers.” Not only are they correct, but they’ve inadvertently taught us a great new insult to yell at people who drive too slowly in front of us: “Get out of the way, you fat-packed honker!”

This is a long shell at 3”, and it accordingly fits a big 1-1/4 ounce payload of BB shot. That’s 81 pellets total, and at .18” in diameter they’re sized perfectly for breaching a goose’s feathery defenses and sending him plummeting back to earth for your eager dog to triumphantly carry to you. PMC’s shot is naturally made out of steel for legal hunting around wetlands, and its 1,450 fps muzzle velocity truly earns its designation as “One-Shot High Velocity.”

This goose load features a high wad for even patterns and the prevention of barrel etching, a primer and propellant charge that will fire up even in the damp cold, and a perfectly cylindrical extruded plastic hull and brass-plated head.
