Awesome BAnG rounds!
First time ordering or using these shells. Gunner was great on the service end and received shells fairly quickly, had a few issues with cheaper then dirt, so ventured out with my order this time. Definitely using lucky gunner in the future. Shells group nice out to 12y stay within 6in. Shells are a bit longer could only fit 5 in each barrel of kel-tec usually holds 12 total, onky get 10 total with these. But no complaints otherwise, be my choice of home defense shells as well.
Wish they was a little cheaper in price but where do they pack a wallet called an amazing group actually two amazing if that makes any sense tight tight tight top shelf ammo
Can I really say anything bad about these talk shelf buy as much as you can afford only thing I wish they was in 3 in with 15 pellets at over 1400 feet per
Cycles Flawlessly In A Turknelli (Coppolla T4)
Excellent ammo. Packs quite a punch and is accurate. 60 rounds fired as a break in of my new Coppolla T4 shotgun and every round chambered, fired and extracted flawlessly. Rounds pattern tightly and smack steel with a satisfying ring. Excellent service from Lucky Gunner on these as well.
Hot and Heavy
Other reviews say there's trouble with feeding or sticking. May have been a defective batch?
The ones I got cycle flawlessly in my tristar viper g2.
They have quite a kick compared to other buckshot I've used.
Twelve 00 buck pellets of pure lead should weigh 1.5 ounces, but these are closer to 1 5/8 ounce, so something heavier was mixed in with the lead.
Moving that much lead at 1290 fps gives heavy recoil for a "non magnum" shell.
Aside from my rio #4 buck 27 pellet, 1 3/8 ounce 1345 fps shells, these are my favorite 12 gauge shells.
This is a pretty hot round, downright violent out of my lightweight 20" Maverick 88, still pretty nasty in my Mossberg 930, but the effect down range is spectacular. No issues with cycling in either shotgun, all rounds went boom. Good stuff, will buy more and use for apocalypse load out. LOL
Great ammo great pattern
Very reliable feeds perfectly. You can really appreciate the reduced recoil in a lighter shotgun. The only issue is the length which is longer than 2 3/4.
Will turn a watermelon into a fine mist!
After I got these - my first order from Lucky Gunner - I was anxious to try them out. Took them out to the field out back and pitted them against a couple watermelons. It's liquidized those things so quickly, my wife standing significantly further behind me got a sweet spray of juice raining on her. :)
Tried this trash with multiple shotguns with the same results. Stuck shells after it’s fired. I’m blaming the aluminum. Regardless of from my Mossberg 590 or Remington 870. Could not get this to eject, often times having to use a leatherman to pry them out. Also wouldn’t work in a friends’ benelli super nova with chrome lined barrel
Shot these through my Benelli Nova Tactical today; about 4” pattern at 7 yds then about an additional inch per yd after that. Fewer flyers than I expected at 7 yds which was a nice surprise for 12 pellets
Doesn't fit in 590M
Ammo looks to be of good quality, but, unfortunately, it doesn't run in a Mossberg 590M. It is too long for the magazine. This is the first ammo I had this problem with.
Shells longer than advertised
These shells say they're 2.75" but they are the little longer (still shorter than 3") but just enough that I can only get 6 in a 7 round tube. Otherwise, they ran great, just hope it doesn't come down to that one extra shell :-)
Didn't want to run in Mossberg 835 pump
Pretty terrible ammo, tbh. It has a ton of recoil, which I usually don't mind. The biggest problem is that the gun jams closed once these shells are fired. It requires me to pull very hard on the forend of my pump shotgun to eject the shell. Much harder than I need to pull for any other shell. Actually, a number of times, it's meant that I had to take the gun off my shoulder and clear the jam by leveraging the stock against my knee and pulling with both hands. My gun doesn't have problems running anything else. I've shot 10 other kinds of ammo. All are more expensive, and all are other buckshot or slug rounds. All of the others actually cycle properly without excessive force to eject the shell. Disappointed with this stuff. Some issue with the case or the brass must be causing the gun to jam up.
Don’t get these with the expectations of using it for an ar-12
Every round failed to feed in my panzer arms ar-12. I had to assist every round into the chamber by pulling back the slide manually. I used some estate 00 buck, as well as Winchester game load with absolutely no issues. This stuff was getting stuck because the shell casings are made out of cheap plastic that is very flexible and they don’t seem to be crimped very well. These would most likely work fine in a standard pump shotgun, but not for a magazine fed ar-12. At $1 a round I made an expensive mistake ordering these in bulk, but unfortunately that’s the only way luckygunner will sell them. Would have liked to have just bought one box to test the shells first.
This stuff is good enough
This Nobel Sport 12 pellet 00 buckshot is better than S&B ammo for having a wad that controls shot spread. The recoil is manageable and produced a 10 inch pattern out of my Mossberg 590a1 at 15 yards. With the virus and unrest going on this is good enough for a "buck a shot". Get it while you can!
Good value on a scarce item today
Fast service - ordered on a Sunday, received on Wednesday. Loaded in 2 Mossberg 500's and 2 Remington 870's, incl. a TAC-14. All took the standard basic load despite the Nobel rounds being slightly longer; all loaded, extracted, & ejected normally (unfired). I measured Remington 12 ga 00 buck at 2 5/16" overall, Wolf - 2 7/16", and these Nobel at 2 1/2" overall. This for rounds designated 2 3/4". Would buy again.
Plows the Road
Great round. Gives about a 20" spread at 20 yards from my Mossberg 500.
Shells a bit longer, but still can get 5 in the tube.
With the extra pellets there is little gap in the pattern. Even at 40 yards it still put 4 pellets through a man sized 1/2" sheet of plywood. Ouch...

My Favorite Buckshot
These are my favorite buckshot rounds for Saiga or Vepr-12 shotguns. FULL power, and consistent spread out of these guns of just under 1" per yard: approximately 12" at 15 yards, and 18" at 20 yards. I shoot these and the S & B 12 pellet load, and I notice a distinct difference in sound, recoil, and consistent spread. The S & B loads are rated at 100fps less than these and it shows. I much prefer a 12 pellet load over a 9 pellet load of 00 Buck, especially at anything over 15 yards; because, of the %33 more probable hits on your target. Don't forget to get some #4 buck as well, 27 pellet load, to go with this.
Nice Defense Round
Bought these for the 12 pellet load. Works well in my Winchester pump, but because they are a bit longer than US shells at 2.5 in, one less fits the magazine tube. Kicks about 33% more than 9 pellet buck due to 33% more mass heading down range. Nice spread at 10 yards. Absolutely shreds basketball sized hole. Lucky Gunner gets these to your door in a couple days.
