Have inferior slugs made you salty? Treat yourself to the real deal this hunting season – or to a lower recoil solution for home defense (lower than 12 Gauge, at least) – with this 20 Gauge slug from Remington’s respected Slugger line of ammunition!

This shell is furnished with a 5/8 ounce rifled slug. Ideal for a smoothbore shotgun, the slug’s riflings enable it to fit through a variety of different sized choke tubes. (Contrary to popular belief, a slug’s riflings do not actually grant it greater stability and therefore accuracy in flight.) This slug holds a flat trajectory with its 1,513 fps muzzle velocity, enabling it to drop by no more than 4.5” at 100 yards at which point it still transfers nearly 650 ft lbs of energy. This slug’s hollow point design delivers expanding terminal performance, rapidly spreading all of that energy outward in the process of creating a gaping wound channel.

Remington’s green box always stands for outstanding value. You’ll find each shell in this case of 250 the same as one another, with quality brass heads and extruded plastic hulls that promote correct functioning in any type of shotgun. These shells’ non-corrosive primers and clean burning propellant also reduce the need for field maintenance!
