Turkey Hunting
We all know about the Golden Goose. It laid golden eggs … although these days I’d much rather have a Bitcoin Goose. Am I right, folks?
I don’t know what valuable thing a Golden Turkey would produce. A golden beard? A golden gobble? Doesn’t really matter, because there is already a Golden Turkey. It’s Fiocchi’s premium line of American-made turkey thwackers!
This 20 Gauge shell does the deed with a large payload of #5 lead shot: 1-1/14 ounces, which equates to around 213 individual ground-to-turkey missiles. The shot pellets are plated with nickel, which hardens them and helps them pattern more narrowly and turkey-killingly. That’s extremely helpful to the turkey hunter’s cause.
These rounds’ high-brass (0.63”) hulls are packed with Fiocchi’s slow-fouling powder and always-dependable shotgun primers. You can reload the hulls with any kind of shot you would like. Truly a thing that keeps on giving, much like a (gasp!) Golden Turkey would!
