This 3” 20 Gauge shotshell is loaded with a full ounce of #2 steel shot. Everything that it pushes out of a muzzle is nontoxic. It’s not all round, however, as 40 percent of this shell’s shot is FliteStopper pellets. These have raised rings around their centers, effectively increasing their diameter so they can punch wider wound channels into their target. The rest of the shot is Federal’s usual premium steel pellets, which back up the FliteStoppers’ terminal performance to drop ducks fast.
This shell’s FliteControl wad features rear-mounted petals. They give the blended shot column added in-flight stability to increase its range. The FliteControl’s vents ensure clean detachment from the shot column shortly after pushing it so evenly out the muzzle. The FliteControl is compatible with all choke tubes.
You’ll likely be taking this ammo somewhere soggy. That’s why Federal gives each Black Cloud shell a sealed crimp, corrosion resistant plated head, and temperature stable powder. You’ll notice this shell’s primer and powder have left your shotgun unusually clean by the end of your duck hunt!
