Some animals can be dealt with a little more harshly than others. For instance, if you woke up tomorrow morning to find a giant panda helping himself to your garden, you wouldn’t want to shoot him. They are too rare and too cute. But if you caught a raccoon in the same act, a rational response could certainly include this 22 LR Dynapoint ammo by Winchester!

This round features a 40 grain bullet and is standard-velocity at 1,150 fps. As a copper plated hollow point it’s arguably the best kind of bullet a 22 LR could have. Its thin plating hardens the bullet to aid feeding in a semi-auto, and also prevents lead from getting mashed into the barrel’s rifling to impact accuracy. The bullet’s nose cavity is of course there to deliver the kind of terminal expansion that is lethal to small critters. Still, this economical type of bullet is just as satisfying to engage for target practice and plinking!

Winchester’s straight-walled brass cases will help any firearm to function smoothly, semi-auto or otherwise. Winchester’s non-corrosive rimfires primer and low residue propellant both do their part to preserve accuracy and prevent damage in a firearm.
