Biathlon is a strange sport that combines skiing and shooting. Problem is, it’s cross-country skiing – the worst kind of skiing, no offense intended to cross-country skiers. This round’s 1,050 fps muzzle velocity in a rifle makes it subsonic. Its report will be comparatively softer, and it will pair well with a suppressor. Fiocchi gives this round a powerful rimfire primer as well, but please take note that subsonic 22 LR ammo may fail to cycle certain semi-automatic firearms!
