Thanks to Remington, I’m still creating new memories surrounding the little round. This hunting load shouldn’t do you much good on anything larger than squirrels, but boy howdy does it ever kills squirrels. Oak trees won’t know what to do with their acorns, so few in numbers squirrels will become once you’ve spent up all this ammunition.
This round’s bullet is a copper-plated hollow point, which operates on the same principles as a 22 LR’s CPHP: plating to reduce lead fouling, and a nose cavity to enable terminal expansion. The very light and subsonic bullet only pulls a G1 BC of 0.080, but you’ll see that just represents the conventional 22 Short performance you’re likely already accustomed to.
