Take note that this round isn’t underpowered. Ammo makers usually measure rimfire muzzle velocities using rifle-length test barrels. CCI captured this one’s deceptively low 1,050 fps MV using a 2” barrel, which provides a more realistic look at how it performs in the little handguns people conventionally carry.
Semi-automatic? It should easily speed through this ammo, which is loaded with lubricious nickel-plated brass cases that decrease friction to reduce the risk of FTFs and FTEs.
