You prefer finesse over raw power. That’s why you shoot trap or skeet with a 28 Gauge shotgun – you’d be squandering your natural talents with a shotgun as big as the twelve. Finding your preferred ammunition can prove difficult at times, but thanks to Winchester you can now stock up on high-quality AA series target loads by the case!

This shell is loaded with #9 shot – tiny 0.08” diameter lead pellets which produce a 439-pellet thick pattern even when there are only 3/4 ounces of them. The shot pellets are hard enough to remain mostly undeformed as they are accelerated to a hot velocity of 1,300 fps, which is the key to their extra-dense pattern.

Winchester’s acclaimed AA wad is engineered to improve pattern performance even further. Its hinged midsection also serves to mitigate felt recoil, so you may barely realize you’re firing a shotgun at all! (That’s an overstatement, but you see what we’re getting at.) This ammo’s primers and powder are both reliable as all get out, and its hulls are very much worth hanging on to if you handload.
