This shotshell features Winchester’s own Xpert Steel Shot. Each #7 shot pellet accordingly exhibits exemplary roundness and corrosion resistance, the latter of which ensures it remains smooth enough to pattern closely together alongside its pure steel 0.10” diameter brothers and sisters.

Steel shot is very hard, but it poses no risk of scratching your shotgun’s barrel thanks to Winchester’s high-quality wads. They have long cups which prevent the shot pellets from making any contact with the bore, and additionally feature small compression zones in their bases to mitigate felt recoil. This ammo is reloadable – a welcome bonus when you’re talking about relatively rare 28ga ammo!
