Mark 4Z ammunition is designed for safe operation in M1 Garand rifles. It can be fired in other 30-06 rifles as well.
Mark 4Z ammunition is noncorrosive.

This 30-06 Springfield military ammunition never fulfilled its purpose … or did it? Maybe, without knowing it, Pakistan Ordnance Factories actually loaded this ammunition just for you!

This is Mk 4Z ball ammunition, which indicates that it is loaded with a 150 grain full metal jacket boat tail projectile. Same kind of bullet you’d normally find in modern commercial-grade 30-06, albeit with one important exception: the FMJBT has a steel envelope beneath its gilding metal exterior. Will that envelope attract a magnet? Assuredly, so don’t bring these cartridges where “magnetic ammo” is not gladly received.

This surplus ammo is loaded with new brass cases. You can plainly see where their mouths were annealed, for added suppleness/durability. The cases’ Berdan primers indicate that they have two flash holes instead of the usual one, which means you’re better off not even attempting to handload them.
