Looking for cheapo 308 Win ammo? Then it’s time to remove the brass from the equation! MAXXTech Essential Steel 308 features nothing less than steel cases. Steel is significantly less expensive to produce than brass, a metallurgic fact that you will see reflected in this ammo’s price tag. Each case wears a thin, heat-resistant polyurethane coating to facilitate feeding and extraction in any type of rifle. Each case is also loaded with a noncorrosive Berdan primer. Steel cases aren’t reloadable, so you might as well leave whatever your rifle spits out on the ground.

This ammo’s 150 grain full metal jacket bullets will attract a magnet. That is because each lead-core FMJ wears a bi-metal jacket, which is made of steel with a very thin copper-washed exterior. Do not order this ammo if you only shoot at a range which prohibits magnetic ammo!

Maxxtech is a Bosnian company, but their steel-cased ammunition is made at the Tula Cartridge Works in Russia. You will see Tula’s headstamps on this ammo’s steel cases.
